If you are planning a weekend stay-cay in Brisbane forget the Airbnbs. Yet another new option is coming, and it will exceed all your expectations.
The long-awaited Ovolo The Valley will be opening its doors to the public this November. Taking over the iconic Emporium Hotel (which has moved to its shiny new digs in South Brisbane) has been transformed into an all-new, sleek and stylish, 103 room urban oasis. The theme of the new digs is inspired by Fortitude Valley’s eclectic culture and history, welcoming in new guests to an experience of whimsical colour, art, and quirky hidden gems throughout the hotel.
The upgrade has cost a cool $55 million to complete, so rest assured that when we say this hotel is impressive, we mean it. While it celebrates the vibrant and vivacious nature of the valley in its design and common areas, each room is its own calming oasis. The intention was to combine luxury and nature, and they got it spot on.
Aside from the gorgeous design, each room will be decked out with all the gadgets you can think of; massive flat screens, Google Chromecast, even your own Amazon Alexa to help you with your every whim. This plus 24-hour room service, a rooftop pool (!), gym, and sauna means you’ll never want to leave the hotel. Did we mention the rooftop pool?
Turns out, staying in Brisbane has never been so in demand...
