With the powers of Winn, Bakery, and California Lanes combined, Hidden Lanes Festival is gearing up to raise the bar for street parties everywhere in a rollicking fiesta of fashion, food, music, art, and live entertainment. Laneway tenants will be getting in on the action, showcasing all they have to offer and enticing patrons away from the main drags. We’re low-key losing it, though, because this inaugural event will be our first contact with the hotly anticipated California Lane.

Each laneway has its own distinct vibe and persona, catering to vastly different demographics within Fortitude Valley. You want live music, burgers, and some eclectic retail? You want Winn Lane. Fancy somewhere to take your smart-casual agenda and foxy dinner date? Bakery Lane’s got your back. We’re frothing at the gills to meet California Lane and get a feel for her story. Named after the California Café, one of Brisbane’s OG dining institutions from the 1950s, California Lane has a suitably retro look with pastels, mural art, and a bit of neon. On the Brunswick Street side there’s a raft of late night eateries and specialty coffee joints we’re expecting to join the fun when the Hidden Lanes Festival pops off.

Also promised are some live music acts, none moreso that The Delta Riggs as headliners (!!!), as well as market stalls, a suitcase rummage, and a whole bunch of other attractions designed to show off the creative exploits of Brisbane’s talented many.
