Now Bulimba is in no short supply of decent bars, eateries and beer gardens, but waving the colours of ‘one more can’t hurt’ is a brand-new bar-slash-chow house called The Oxford Garden.
Officially opening tonight (!), it's already high on our register of where to go for a drink (or five) and a feed this summer. Light, airy and ideal for our humid-as-hell summers, The Oxford Garden is bringing its A-game in the Brisbane bar stakes. Speaking of, at the bar you'll find all your fave local craft beers, boutique wines and a neat cocktail list that'll serve perfect for sundowners on the outdoor terrace, while their expansive menu offers a sturdy bunch of share plates for grazing when hunger strikes, with stuff like truffle fries, chicken wings, and a prosciutto & fig bruschetta that sounds money.
They’ve also got a big plates menu of gastropub classics like a chicken parma and fish and chips, as well as some curveballs like the house made gnocchi and a whole butterflied chicken with potato skins…and that’s before you get to the burgers, and popcorn shrimp po boy (!).
Their official launch party is tonight, guys, with doors officially opening tomorrow for all the weekend vibes!
