Tinderbox Kitchen Opens!

By Sophia McMeekin - 22 Oct 2013

James Street has a new kid on the block, and it's already being touted as the new neighborhood favourite. Tucked into the Harvey's laneway, Tinderbox will be serving up freshly made, wood-fired pizzas, by a team who are more than tiny bit taken with the Italian Rustica theme.

The whole menu looks ideal for sharing, with a great selection of game on offer (yep, the meat kind. Think pig, lamb, all kinds of birds and seafood). And all topped off with a bangin' drinks menu.

Indoor and outdoor spaces lend the space a very cool, casual vibe sure to attract a regular swag of locals for after-work drinks, or those tempted by the promise of all-day-pizza.

The bar looks more than welcoming, with a killer cocktail list, impressive wine offering, craft beers, authentic espresso, and a great bar menu to boot.

This is a new project for Harvey's culinary mastermind, PJ McMillan, and if its father venture is anything to go by, we predict big things for this little pizza and wine bar.

It's open tonight from 5pm, so we highly recommend you grab a posse and check this one out.
