We don’t know about you, but we think knocking back a few beverages of the top shelf variety along with an equally sinful feed, constitute the building blocks of a great weekend. Add to that a bit of live music, maybe a bit of banter—depending on the quality of your company—and you’ve got yourself the recipe for greatness.
One bar upping the weekend ante is Buffalo Bar. Since opening their doors in the CBD they have been feeding Brisbane their unique dose of southern hospitality, with a rep for mean wings and brews from across the (really big) pond.
Adding to their already illustrious reputation for a good time, Buffalo Bar has recently relaunched with a bit of a face-lift. There’s an all-new ‘Superdog’ menu (basically the best hot dogs you’ll ever eat!), plus a few new additions to the revamped Hank’s Bar, including in-house infused and barrel-aged whiskeys!
The icing on the cake, however, is their new weekly events, the ultimate hat trick, designed to take your precious weekends from great to bloomin’ epic!
Knock off drinks start early at Buffalo Bar, kicking off the weekend vibes on a Thursday night with ‘Buffalo Ballers’ Dabble in a game of beer pong, or perhaps test your stamina in a food challenge. With a half Kilo of Wings for $10, jugs of Sam Adams and Sangria at ‘Baller’ prices and live music kicking off from 6pm in the beer garden, Thursday really is the new Friday!
Hit repeat on Saturday, with Buffalo Bar’s iconic ‘Pickleback Club’. Hit peak weekend vibes with their weekly prohibition-style event, showcasing in-house infused and barrel aged whiskeys, specialty cocktails, pickleback shots at the bar, and epic rockabilly and bluegrass band line-ups!
Feeling a little worse for wear come Sunday? Buffalo Bar’s got your back, with Help Sundays. Recover with a ‘help’ package; a super-stuffed Superdog, wings and fries for just $20, and maybe catch the Sunday footy in the beer garden and wile away the afternoon. That’s the sort of help we like!
