Mark it in your diaries, everyone’s favourite event of winter is back! For just 12 nights from July 20 until July 31, South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt will once again transmogrify into a red-lanterned cacophony of hustle and mayhem that is the Brisbane Night Noodle Markets.
This year promises to be bigger and better than ever with 25 of Brisbane’s favourite Asian eateries, and a few standout dishes that already sending exciting tremors through the city. Beeping on the radar is the pretty extravagant watermelon cake from Sydney’s Black Star Pastry featuring N2 Gelato. The ever-Instagramable Clear Raindrop Cake from Harajuku Gyoza is also up for grabs.
Even Luke Nguyen will be getting in on the action and stopping by on July 22 for a bit of chat about his favourite dishes from the Fat Noodle and we suspect his famous phō will be included among them.
What else could possibly make this entire event better? Doughnuts. Doughnuts are always the answer, so in an incredible act of community service our own Doughnut Time will be popping up for a very special two nights to deliver your post-noodle doughnut fix.
