Want to help Australia's drought-stricken farming community but not sure how? Well this weekend, you can use your addiction to dessert for a good cause and earn some karma points just by paying a pretty penny for some seriously tasty baked goods. It's all thanks to Jocelyn's Provisions, who are hosting an epic bake sale from which proceeds will be going to directly to Drought Angels to support farmers who are currently struggling thanks to a drought with no end in site.
Jocelyn’s won't be doing Bake For A Farmer alone—they'll be joined by some of our best restaurants, cafes and leading local chefs. Taking over Albion Fine Trades on Sunday 1 December, you're invited (and encouraged) to come and eat as much cake as you can.
With participating venues including Sixes and Sevens, Tartufo, sAme sAme, Short Order and more, each selling their own signature baked dish, you better be prepared to enter a carb-induced food coma.
The bake sale will also be fully equipped with live music, a petting zoo, face painting and raffle prizes to be won, so it’s a complete sha-bang of a day out. Remember, all proceeds will be going directly to charity in order to support our local farmers and to thank them for consistently producing our goods. Thanks to all the farmers out there! Now let's eat some cake.
When: Sunday 1 December, 9am–1pm
