Just when you thought it was time to get that body of yours all trim, taught and terrific in time for spring, Brisbane market icons, Eat Street Markets go and slay us with this foodie doozey: Matt Sinclair of MasterChef fame is to launch his first ever market stall tomorrow night at Eat Street!
Oh, and it's not just any old food stall, Eat Street are famous for their colourful and quirky shipping containers, and Ten Piece Cutlery (um, cutest name ever!) will serve up epic morsels for the hungry public every weekend moving forward, and we can’t wait!
A true labour of love, Matt and his business partner in crime, Michael have been working on the launch of Ten Piece Cutlery and their would-be menu for a couple of years—yes, pre MKR, guys!
Matt gave us a taster of the menu tomorrow evening: “...we’ll be serving up tamarind glazed brisket with vermicelli noodles, grilled Mooloolaba whiting tails with pearl barley and szechuan chilli, and crispy Mooloolaba tacos, which are pretty cool’’.
He’s also pumped to be back in Brisbane, sharing his love of food with us good people of Brisbane, “We have always loved the buzz that Eat St creates and the incredible standard of vendors it houses, and Brisbane has really embraced the whole street food culture. We are so excited and humbled to feature at Eat St and to show people what we are all about”.
Great food and all round nice guy? We’re hooked! Welcome back to Brisbane, Matt, something tells us you’re going to be busy this weekend!
Eat Street Markets open from 4pm every Friday evening, and from 11am every Saturday and Sunday.
