Load Up On Four Flavours Of Arancini At This Italian Street-Food Pop-Up

Not only are shopping centres running out of staples like pasta and tinned tomatoes, but so too are households running out of ways to make spaghetti bolognese new and interesting. If you’ve tried adding unconventional accoutrements and it’s made your pasta sauce worse, maybe throwing in the towel and getting some local help is the best way forward. 

Thanks to local hero Locale, you can load up on Sicilian and Roman flavours, as well as those of the Amalfi Coast, with their Italian Street Food Pop Up on Saturday 9 May. Quell your wanderlust with four different types of Sicilian arancini—spinach and mushroom, beef ragu, pistachio and ham and prawn and seafood bisque as well as caprese focaccia and sweet Roman maritozzi buns stuffed with dulce de leche and caramelised pear or strawberries and cream. In short, the goodies will get your tastebuds travelling, and maybe your mouth dribbling, who’s to say?

In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, the event will run with pre-ordered food and pre-allocated collection times, across a two-hour service period at both lunch and dinner. You can check out the full menu on offer and pre-order bulk arancini for your preferred pick up time here.
