Travis Scott, the rapper on everyone’s playlists right now, has just confirmed he’s headed down under for one show only—and it’s going to be an absolute banger.
Celebrating the start of the Aussie summer, SandTunes will take place at the Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium in Carrara from Saturday 30 November to Sunday 1 December.
The inaugural festival is expected to attract around 35,000 people on the day, with promoters pegging it to become Australia’s answer to Glastonbury—we dig!
Over two action-packed two days, revellers will sink their toes in the sand while blissing out to the tunes of Logic and Carly Rae Jepsen—the first time either artist has performed in Australia—as well as Dean Lewis, JuiceWRLD, Chvrches and Alice Ivy.
And of course, the rapper of the hour, Travis Scott, will headline this epic event. He’s already confirmed this performance will be his only Australian gig this year, so you best get ready to go Sicko Mode on those tickets.
Tickets for SandTunes go on sale from midday east coast time on Wednesday, 31 July. While a cheeky presale drop will go down Friday 26 July at 10am (AEST).
