Freebie Fridays | Our Shout At Watt

By Sophia McMeekin - 02 Oct 2013

We love Friday night drinks, and we love free stuff, so it's no surprise we're all over the 'Our Shout' offer from Watt Restaurant & Bar.

The gang at Watt know that when you're settling in for an afternoon beverage with friends (preferably by the stunning Brisbane river, as the sun sets), sometimes the only thing that could make the whole thing better are some tasty bar nibbles. And if those bar nibbles happen to be on the house, then, all the better!

From now until the end of summer, when you head to Watt with a group of four or more pals on a Friday eve', they'll happily treat you to a tasty little bowl of something (the free offer changes weekly), to be washed down with one of their stunning wines, and extensive list of cocktails, boutique beers and ciders.

Once your appetite has been whet by this free treat, you might want a partake of the bar menu, which includes a selection of small plates, ideal for sharing, and has pork sliders, oysters, served up tempura or kilpatrick (don't make us choose!), deconstructed prawn cocktails, rice paper rolls, and—our fave—salt and pepper squid on the line up.

There's also light meals, for the slightly more hungry (think steak sandwiches and tempura fish and chips), as well as seafood platters and dessert.

There'll be a DJ spinning tracks for your audial enjoyment, and some of Brisbane's most beautiful people around you for company. Seriously, do Friday nights get any better?
