Spring Fashion Guide

In case you didn’t notice, spring has well and truly sprung. The sun is out, the weather’s warming up and we feel like it’s summer already. With the change of seasons comes the inevitable “WTF” moment when you realise your wardrobe no longer matches your life and you have again ended up with a full wardrobe and nothing to wear. Shit.

Obviously, you need to get shopping, stat. But what to buy? Leave that to us! We’ve teamed up with Westfield Carindale to bring you the key Spring/ Summer pieces you’ll need to nail for Spring dressing. These stunning pieces are available as part of Samantha Harris’ capsule collection at Westfield, you can catch her launching this at Westfield Carindale on Friday 16 September. Shopping lists at the ready, people! Let’s do this.

As if the sunshine wasn’t bringing enough light to our life, we can’t get over this mega-bright set from Sheike. Paired best with these  black Wittner heels, this clutch from Kookai and this killer red lip from Nars.

If you thought the LBD wouldn’t be making an appearance this spring, don’t worry—it’s obviously here to stay. This classic option from Bec & Bridge pairs perfectly with statement earrings from Mimco and a pop of colour with this Mimco clutch and finished off with a splash of colour from this Chanel gloss.

If there’s one thing spring isn’t, it’s boring. Enter: all of the metallics. Pair your statement metallic piece with a basic staple to avoid going OTT, like this skirt and bell sleeve top from By Johnny. Pair with neutral accessories like these pumps from Seed Heritage and simple jewellery like these hoops from Molten Store. Complete the look with a smokey eye using this eye shadow from Chanel and a spritz of By Redo's Gypsy Water.

Spring is time to welcome floaty, airy basics in dreamy colours. We’re obsessed with this top from Maurie & Eve that Sam is rocking paired expertly with the dulcet tones of Bec & Bridge’s blue skirt. Pair with a bright lip like this one from YSL and these Stella McCartney shades. Last but not least, chuck on this Mimco necklace.

Stripes, white jeans and healthy glow. If that doesn’t say spring all over it, what does? To steal this look grab this Decjuba shirt and pair it with these jeans from Seed Heritage. To complete the look slip into these glitzy Mimco flats and chuck on this Seed Heritage bracelet. Keep things hands-free with this bag from Country Road. Add the finishing touch to your cheeks with this blush from Nars

And just like that, you’re all ready for spring!

To shop these picks IRL head down to Westfield Carindale on September 16 to see Samantha Harris show all of her picks for SS17.
