Picture thumping beats, a packed-out stadium, and a beverage in hand while breaking shapes on the dancefloor. No, this is not a Saturday night in town, this is the pinnacle of sporting events; trackside watching athletes reach eye-popping speeds on aerodynamic bikes.
The three-day long track-cycling party that rocked Melbourne, Six Day Series Finals is hitting up Brisbane—and it’s going to get wild.
The Anna Meares Velodrome in Chandler is firstly, beautiful, and received a lot of attention during the Commonwealth Games for its state-of-the-art track, where it hosted a multitude of cycling events while playing host to some of the world’s most acclaimed athletes.
Now, the Six Day Series is hitting town, bringing with it a slew of world-renowned athletes who'll battle it out over three nights of intense racing. Expect a tonne of finals vibes and a three-day long party. Right in the middle of the velodrome.
Popping up in the centre will be DJs, bars and a dancefloor where you can watch the action unfold, while also living up your best weekend with drinks and beats late into the night.
If only all sporting events combined our weekend plan with finals fever—we’d be front row. Get all the details and ticket info, here.
