Much like The Incredibles 2, the latest from Chocolate Komberry Co. (better known as the real MVPs) is a treat for adults disguised as a childish fancy. It’s called the Teddy Bear Picnic Cone, and after finishing one you will feel as stuffed as its namesake.
The dessert is structured kind of like a sweet pita, with a baked teddy bear face and ears forming the pocket into which a spire of soft serve is funnelled, then the whole thing is drizzled with sauce and finished off with some Tiny Teddies. Flavours will be on rotation but this weekend they’re kicking things off with a knee-weakening butter pecan and salted caramel.
And, lucky us, this adorable little sweet thing is exclusive to Eat Street Northshore.
For those uninitiated in the confectionery wonderland that is Chocolate Komberry Co., they've been responsible for some of the wildest Brisbane food trends of the past year; we recommend checking out their Instagram for a visual feast of loaded doughnuts, maxed-out thick shakes, ice cream sandwiches, those doughnut fries, and the most extreme soft serve cones in town.
Come down this weekend and see what all the excitement’s about. Eat Street Northshore is open from 4pm Friday and Saturday, and from midday on Sunday.
