May's Brisbane market calendar is here! And, with winter truly upon us, this month's markets are full of the new season's best fruit and vegetables, winter fashions, homewares and gorgeous blooms! So what are you waiting for… download this month's calendar and get to market!

Food / Produce Markets

Kelvin Grove Village Markets Not only great for all your grocery needs, KVGM (we do love a good acronym!) have a number of stalls stocking fantastic fashion finds and gorgeous homewares.

Eagle Farm MarketsOne for all the family, grab your fruit, veg', plus super fresh meats and breads from local and regional producers, before taking the kids for a pony ride and meeting a host of cute farm animals.

Where: Eagle Farm Racecourse | Lancaster Road in Ascot?
When: Every Sunday 7:00am - 12:30pm

Nundah Fresh Farmer's Markets? Every Sunday from 6am to midday, the Nundah train station car park (below Nundah Village) hosts some of the best produce Brisbane has to offer. Shop fresh seafood to gourmet meats, artisan breads and pastries, to flowers, health and lifestyle items and home décor. You can even grab yourself a freshly ground coffee to ward off the early start!

Brisbane Rocklea Saturday Fresh Market? The Saturday Fresh Market is pretty much the holy grail of Brisbane farmer's markets. With close to 200 stalls featuring a massive selection of fruit and veg', meats and poultry, fresh-cut flowers, breads and pastries plus lifestyle products, it is a must do for markets. Stock sells fast here, so be sure to get in early!

When: Every Saturday 6:00am – midday

Jan Power's Farmers Market? With Jan Power's Farmers Markets in four handy locations, there really is no excuse not to get along to one. Find all your weekly fruit and veg' needs here plus some great meat from local producers, as well as top deli and pantry goods.

Where: Reddacliff Place | Queen Street in Brisbane CBD?
When: Every Wednesday 10:00am - 6:00pm

When: Second and fourth Saturday of every month 6:00am - 12:00pm

Moggill Markets? There is a very relaxed, grass roots feel about these markets, so you can very easily spend the whole day strolling around! Find quaint stalls sampling top quality produce form local and regional vendors, and enjoy some delicious coffee and baked goods.

When: First and third Saturday of every month 6:30am - 11:00am

Produce By The Pier? Just a short drive along the coast to Produce By The Pier — champions of sustainable living and fresh fruit and veg' as well as some great gourmet food products. Make a day of it by stopping by the beach on the way back!

Northey Street City Farm Organic Market ?Northey Street City Farm Organic is an early finisher in the market world, but worth getting out of bed for. Their excellent selection of organic fruit and veg', gardening supplies, and so much more. Set in a lush spot just off Lutwyche Road, this one is for the die-hard market fan.

Davies Park Market (West End Market)With a loyal following, Davies Park Market can give the newcomers a run for their money! Everything you need to stock up your fridge and your appetite all under the shade of some rather charming Jacaranda trees!

Boggo Road Markets? With the imposing old jail looming in the distance, the Boggo Road Markets bring a little something extra to the standard market scene. Find a great variety of fruit and veg', baked goods and delicious street foods.

Night Markets

Eat Street Markets? have become a regular on market goers calendars — and for good reason! Not only can you pick up some fantastic homewares, craft and fashion finds, the selection and quality of food and drink on offer is superb.

Where: Macarthur Avenue, Hamilton?
When: Every Friday and Saturday from 4:00pm – 10:00pm

Love Your Local Twilight Markets?The first Friday of every month is a local love-in at Hawthorne's Love Your Local Twilight Markets. Full of delicious fresh foods and yummy treats, this is an evening well spent.

When: First Friday of every month 4:00pm - 8:30pm

Boundary Street's Market Lane Night Markets?. One month in and this little laneway is bursting with energy on a Friday night. Hawker-style traders serving up every kind of food, live entertainment, pop-up stores, even a licensed bar (in a container!). Is this the next generation in local markets? We like!

When: Every Friday, 4pm 'til late

Lifestyle Markets

Boundary Street Markets?. Pop in to Boundary Street (and check out their new night markets, shown above!) for creative stalls housing jewellery and homewares, amazing foods stalls and new pop-ups, plus they're home to Brisbane's first clothing swap, SWOP.

Suitcase Rummage? Expect some super finds rummaging through vintage threads and accessories. Excellent for unusual items and one of kind pieces. One man's trash is another's treasure and all that….

Brisbane Valley Markets? Still a stalwart of the Brisbane market scene, Brisbane Valley Markets is great for fashion, jewellery, and for finding vintage music to add to the record collection. On every Saturday and Sunday.

When: Every Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Every Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Young Designers Market? This is the place to find young up-and-comers in the fashion industry. Come support local and regional designers; peruse unique fashion, art and home décor, followed by a late dinner at one of the nearby eateries.

When: First Sunday of every month 10:00am - 4:00pm

Substation Vintage & Artisan Markets? Held in a gorgeous Brisbane landmark, Substation Vintage & Artisan Markets aptly showcase an array of boutique-style stalls with unique vintage and handmade products.

When: Third Saturday of every month 9:00am – 3:00pm

South Bank Collective Market? With Friday evenings now added to their trading hours you can browse one of a kind art, photography, designer fashion and accessories, homewares, jewellery, and creative pop-up shops at this market right in the heart of the ever-popular South Bank precinct.

When: Friday 5:00pm – 9:00pm Saturday 10:00am - 9:00pm and Sunday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Renegade Design Markets Design College Australia have joined force with some of Queensland's best-known and up-and-coming designers, to hold a one-off market day! Find one-off jewellery pieces and eclectic fashion finds. A real must for anyone looking for something unique!

When: Sat 31st May, 10am-3pm

Flower Market

Brisbane Flower Market Brisbane Flower Market holds an enormous display and variety of the freshest flowers. Buying directly from the growers means that you can pick up your favourite bunch for a fraction of the cost. A must do for any budding florist, or anyone on the lookout for some stunning blooms!
