Yasssss, it's the most wonderful time of the year, and no, we're not talking about Christmas. We're talking about Fringe of course. Kicking off on Australia Day and running until 25 February, a lot of old favourites will be returning—hello Briefs and Djuki Mala—but there's a lot of new stuff to get your head around too.
Yesterday, we told you about Noodle Palace moving to Elizabeth Quay, and now we're pumped to announce the Ice Cream Factory will be sticking around for Fringe and will be home to The Edith Spiegeltent and The Ramp, a new comedy venue.
The Urban Orchard has got a new name—The Showman's Fair—and it will play host to a mini Dutch festival, a long table dining experience, a silent disco and some bargain shows!
The Pleasure Garden will be back with seven performance venues, the famous Mermaid Show and plenty of free street performances.
As always there will be a few Fringe venues scattered further afield including Freo Royale, Sunset Veranda in Scarborough, The Pickled Swan in Midland and Leedypalooza in Leederville, not to mention venues in Rockingham, Rottnest and Geraldton!
Take a look at the program here and keep your eyes peeled for our top picks coming soon!
In the meantime, check out more fun things to do in Perth.
