September is going to be a big month for many reasons—amazing weather, the beginning of summer festivals and footy finals galore. But let’s not forget the food.

Here are 10 dishes you need to tick of your foodie bucket list in September!

Fried Chicken At Meat Candy

After much anticipation, Meat Candy threw open their doors on the first of September in all of their fried chicken glory. Marinated for 24 hours, this stuff is juicy, crunchy and everything you could ever want fried chicken to be. Pair it with a bloody mary and call it a day.

Sesame Glazed Cauliflower At Sweetwater Rooftop Bar

East Fremantle

We could have included just about anything on the menu at Sweetwater because it’s all freakin’ delicious but the cauliflower will blow you away. Roasted to perfection, covered in sesame seeds and served with cashew cream and garlic chips. You’re welcome.

The Honkey At Mack Daddy’s

Mount Lawley

We’d be pretty happy with any pizza at Mack Daddy’s but The Honkey is their New York style white pizza and considering this is the best dang New York style pizza in Perth you’d be crazy not to try this bad boy. With romano, grande mozzarella, ricotta and garlic oil, this is simplicity at its very best.

Le Petit Antoine At Bites By D

Mount Hawthorn

Milk chocolate chantilly, chocolate cremeux, hazelnut dacquoise and crispy praline—this dessert from Bites By D is the grown-up version of Nutella and it’s the best. With so many different textures and flavours, it’s like a party in your mouth.

Pan Fried Kimchi Dumplings At Authentic Bites Dumpling House

We love dumplings and we love kimchi, so when we saw those two things together at last there was no holding us back. The pan fried dumplings at Authentic Bites Dumpling House look pretty spectacular and they taste just as good!

Cheeseburger Spring Rolls At The Guildford Hotel

Imagine a McDonald's cheeseburger in spring roll form and you’re on the right track. Somehow the genius chef at The Guildford Hotel has recreated that flavour and made it a hundred times better.

Harvest Bowl At Isle Of Voyage

Elizabeth Quay

If you’re after something a little more nourishing the harvest bowl at Isle Of Voyage is the perfect dish. With brown rice and toasted quinoa, sprouted legumes, edamame and tempeh croutons all topped with a delightful ginger dressing, it’s the perfect dish to devour while you take in that view.

Lamb Yiros At Filos & Yiros

One of the best yiros in all of Perth, the crew at Filos & Yiros make these bad boys extra special thanks to the amazing hot chips inside, not to mention the most tender lamb and crazy fresh pita.

Tortilla At Pinchos

In case you missed the memo, Pinchos do breakfast now. Try the Tortilla—potato, onion, eggs and garlic with Spanish sausage—to start your day right.

Cotton Candy Affogato Cup At Honey Creme

Organic soft serve, naturally sweetened with local honey, topped with organic cotton candy and delicious coffee. While Honey Creme isn’t officially open until Saturday 10 September, we’ve had a sneak peek and let’s just say you should put this one in your diary!
